Character Development Series"To educate a person in mind & not in morals is to educate a menace to society." - Theodore Roosevelt -In association with Character First Institute (USA), Lifeskills Enrichment's character development series since 2003 aims to partner educators to coach character qualities that will enable their students to be happy, trustworthy and responsible citizens. This series of lessons on character development would increase the youth's awareness and understanding of the value of character for successful living, and can be customized to the school's core values. This programme is based on sound and well-researched materials and resources under the Character First Series developed by the Character First Training Institute from Oklahoma City, USA.
Character FirstTo develop students' character FIRST with "Character, You'll Love It" with emphasis on Responsibility. (3 hours)
Character for Successful LivingA one-term of 8 sessions or 2-terms of 16 sessions to help students be aware and develop character traits, namely Responsibility, Self-control, Attentiveness, Truthfulness, Initiative, Compassion. Sessions can be woven as part of school curriculum and are fun-filled, relaxed and conducted in a highly interactive environment.
Character Coaches TrainingTo equip teachers as Character Coaches with proprietary programme to teach Character Development in their school.
ApproachWe believe that "The heart of education is the education of the heart". Besides reaching their minds, we aim to reach their hearts too. This is done through interactive teaching, inspiring stories, object Lesson, experiential games, craft work and action songs.
